Celebrate Mothering Sunday with an afternoon tea at Cumberland Lodge. Treat your mum to a truly special afternoon at our home in the heart of Windsor Great Park.

Join us for a guided tour of our beautiful 17th century building, which was historically home to Rangers of the Great Park, including Prince Christian and Princess Helena, daughter of Queen Victoria. Tours run between 11am and 3pm and each ticket includes a boutique afternoon tea designed by our Head Chef of 40 years, Rob Szewczyk.

We'll be welcoming in the New Year with our 10th annual Shakespeare Retreat. In 2025, we explore The Tempest. This event follows on from successful retreats including The Merry Wives of Windsor (2024) and A Midsummer Night’s Dream (2018). The Cumberland Lodge International Student Christmas Conference is our longest-standing tradition, bringing together students from around the world to celebrate Christmas with us in Windsor Great Park. Since 1947, we have opened our house to extend a warm welcome to students from all over the world, who are studying in the UK, to enjoy thought-provoking

Author and tree expert Julian Hight explores the story of Windsor Great Park and Forest told through its remaining ancient trees and customs – living links to its rich history.
