Cumberland Lodge is unveiling a new website this week, after working with existing members of its global community to improve its navigation and content.
The site retains the cumberlandlodge.ac.uk address, and features a more mobile-friendly design, a simplified navigation with a tab-style menu, and a raft of new case-studies and testimonials.
‘Goals and social impact’
Communications Director, Helen Taylor, said, ‘Our programme of events and activities has developed and expanded over the last few years, and through conversations with website users we identified a need to communicate the goals and social impact of our work more clearly, and to re-organise our rapidly growing library of digital resources.
‘Over the last few months, we’ve been populating a new version of the site, on an upgraded open-source platform, to help people get to the information they want, more quickly and easily.
‘The new site retains much of the previous content, and existing links to content on the site still work, but there are plenty of new features to improve the user experience, as well.’
New features
The new website goes live on Monday evening, 4 May.
New features include guest speaker profiles, digital resources arranged by project, a more engaging presentation of our current vacancies, and consolidated information about our key programmes and activities.
The site was developed with Sereno, a web developer that specialises in building websites and intranets for not-for-profit organisations.
