For those arriving by train, the nearest station is Egham, just a short taxi ride away. Yet this easy access is combined with a tranquil setting in Windsor Great Park. Our 17th-century country house is surrounded by landscaped gardens and parkland. This provides the perfect environment for a conference. Attendees can disconnect from daily life and engage with the event at hand.

Cumberland Lodge’s rich history adds a unique charm to any corporate event. The main house offers several historic meeting spaces of generous size. These offer sweeping views of the surrounding parkland. Nearby are the Drawing Room and Sitting Room. Our meeting rooms provide both traditional heritage and modern functionality. This makes them the ideal conference venue for gatherings large or small.
For larger conferences, the Mews Conference Centre is a perfect option. These buildings were once the home of Eclipse, one of history’s greatest racehorses. Today the Mews is a modernised conference facility. It features three main conference rooms that can accommodate groups of different sizes. The largest of these can host up to 100 guests. There are also smaller breakout rooms, offering flexibility for workshops or group discussions.
The Groom’s House, a beautiful 17th-century building, offers two more meeting rooms. There is also a relaxed sitting room for informal sessions or breakout spaces. This also provides a valuable space for small groups or gatherings.
3. Accommodation and dining options
Cumberland Lodge is ideal for residential conferences. We can accommodate up to 95 guests across 58 en-suite bedrooms. The Groom’s House provides extra private accommodation with seven en-suite bedrooms.
We are one of the few conference venues with accommodation on this scale this close to London. Organisers of multi-day events don’t have to worry about booking off-site accommodation. Neither do they have to arrange transport for their people to and from the conference venue each day. Our accommodation ranges in size and character to suit all people and event styles.
Dining at Cumberland Lodge is an experience in itself. There are three historic dining rooms within the main Lodge, the largest of which seats up to 90 guests. A conference meal, a networking event or an informal gathering – we can provide the catering to suit.
