Cumberland Conversations

These Cumberland Lodge events offer the chance to engage in thought-provoking conversations with influential leaders in their fields. Join us as we explore the key ethical questions facing society today.

Our Cumberland Conversations series brings guest speakers from the worlds of business, politics, biodiversity, science, education, the arts and beyond, to Cumberland Lodge for inspiring discussions and reflections on the challenges that are shaping our world.

Each conversation will consider a different theme – from the environment to espionage, democracy to diplomacy, and faith to freedom of speech. Our speakers will draw upon their careers, and experiences, sharing personal stories of the tough decisions they’ve faced, and the ethical leadership lessons they’ve learned along the way. Our previous speakers have included iconic fashion designer Dame Zandra Rhodes, and Baroness (Brenda) Hale of Richmond DBE, former President of the UK Supreme Court.

The Conversations are hosted in the intimate setting of our former royal residence, set amidst the inspiring surroundings of Windsor Great Park. Whether you’re a student, mid-career professional, or simply someone who cares about creating positive change, the talks are open to anyone interested in exploring the issues that affect us all.

Support our work

By buying a ticket, you’re supporting our charitable mission to grow the next generation of ethical youth leaders – our guest speakers of tomorrow. Proceeds go towards funding our educational programme, helping young people to gain the skills, knowledge, and perspective to question, challenge, and understand some of the most complex social issues of today.

Together, we’re creating a more ethical, just, and inclusive future, one conversation at a time.
