In an age where political engagement and civic participation appears to be in decline, the need to amplify youth voices has never been more pressing. This is why at Cumberland Lodge we are partnering with young people around the country to re-imagine what politics could look like.
This report is the first stage of our Youth & Democracy project and includes conversations with young people across the UK that have helped us to understand their perspectives on democracy. Their insights are essential for creating a more inclusive and responsive democratic process. Young people are the leaders of tomorrow but, importantly, they are the change-makers of today.
